It is a great honour for me to personally invite you to the 14th International Breast Symposium Düsseldorf (IBSD). Again, we have been able to recruit national and international experts with a great experience in all areas of aesthetic as well as reconstructive breast surgery.

 

The 14th edition of one of the largest private breast meetings in Europe will bring a number of changes – the most significant will be the move into a new venue: the „Alte Federnfabrik in the Areal Böhler in the north of Düsseldorf. This former industrial area, which is under a preservation order, has been developed into a fascinating event location in recent years and offers a wide range of possibilities for holding a unique medical congress - also we will have complete new posibilities in presenting the live surgeries and lectures on big screens.

 

After the great response in the last few years, we will again show exciting live surgeries from the Sana Klinik Düsseldorf to the venue on the first day of the congress. This year there will be 7 surgeries from three operation rooms. The surgeries will be performed with outstanding, well-known international Surgeons.

 

The program is focused on surgical indications and selection of appropriate

techniques for breast surgery:

 

• Reconstructive breast surgery
• Aesthetic breast surgery
• Breast revision surgery
• Breast oncology & radiation therapy
• Robotic surgery
• Round tables in BIA-ALCL & BII

 

Without the time and support from the outstanding

faculty and the audience, we would not have been able to accomplish this fantastic program.
