Dear Friends and Colleagues

 

It is a great honour for me to personally invite you again to the 12th International Breast Symposium Düsseldorf (IBSD) at the Hotel Kö59 (former InterContinental Hotel) situated at the Königsallee. Again, we have been able to recruit national and international experts with a great experience in all areas of aesthetic as well as reconstructive breast surgery.

 

After the great response in the last few years, we will again show exciting live surgeries from the Sana Klinik Düsseldorf to the congress hotel on the first day of the congress. This year there will be 7 surgeries from three operation rooms. The surgeries will be performed with outstanding, well-known international Surgeons.

 

Further, the aim of our 12th Symposium is to have lively scientific controversial discussions together with the participants and the faculty. Again, we will focus on pro- and contra sessions to take the great opportunity to strengthen the multidisciplinary approach between the colleagues to create a platform for an open discussion from different perspectives.

 

The program is focused to surgical indications and selection of appropriate techniques for breast surgery:

• Reconstructive breast surgery
• Aesthetic breast surgery
• Breast revision surgery
• Breast oncology & radiation therapy
• Trends in lipofilling
• Sensation in reconstructive surgery

 

Without the time and support from the outstanding faculty and the audience, we would not have been able to accomplish this fantastic program.
