OF BREAST SURGERY
FINAL DATE IS OUT NOW!!
August 19 - 21, 2021
We apologise for the new postponement of the IBSD 2021. Unfortunately, the current situation left us no other option. The openings in Germany and in many regions of Europe are in full progress, so we have decided to move the meeting to the end of August as in 2020.
WE ARE HAPPY TO BE THE FIRST BIG BREAST MEETING IN GERMANY AFTER MANY MONTHS OF ABSENCE.
Due to the ongoing pandemic and the resulting uncertainties of travel restrictions, we are again offering the International Breast Sympsoium Düsseldorf in hybrid format this year. All surgeries, lectures and discussions can be viewed by participants at a later date free of charge in our online library for at least 12 months.
Vouchers offered to some participants due to last year's postponement remain valid. We will inform all voucher owners about details in the next few days.
THE NEW GENERATION OF HYBRID MEETING - PROGRAM 2021
Dear Friends and Colleagues
It is a great honour for me to personally invite you again to the 9th International Breast Symposium Düsseldorf (IBSD) at the InterContinental Hotel situated at the Königsallee. The meeting will be held as a hybrid meeting due to the ongoing situation. Again, we have been able to recruit national and international experts with a great experience in all areas of aesthetic as well as reconstructive breast surgery.
After last year‘s great response and success, we will enlarge the spectrum of the BREAST & BODY live surgery day. This year there will be 14 surgeries over two days. In our breast augmentation challenge, the surgeons will compete against each other in different rooms but with the same surgery. Same task - different possibilities! The surgeries will be performed with outstanding, well-known Surgeons.
Further, the aim of our 9th Symposium is to have lively scientific controversial discussions together with the participants and the faculty. Again, we will focus on pro- and contra sessions to take the great opportunity to strengthen the multidisciplinary approach between the colleagues to create a platform for an open discussion from different perspectives.
The program is focused to surgical indications and selection of appropriate techniques for breast surgery:
Without the time and support from the outstanding faculty and the audience, we would not have been able to accomplish this fantastic program.
I am looking forward to welcome you in Düsseldorf.
